This Enlightenment Intensive will:- Make clear exactly which attitudes, behaviours and methods you require to get enlightened.
- Provide you with realisations which are symptomatic of premature enlightenment, i.e. free samples, or tastes, of enlightenment and the no-mind awakening state.
- Give clear answers to your deepest spiritual questions
- Deliver a stronger Enlightenment Transmission than that received in public meetings, which will have a beneficial effect before, during and after the Intensive.
The title of this Intensive, like many statements in the Oshana Enlightenment Teaching, has more than one meaning. In this case there are at least five profound lessons to be learned from the title and much more from the Intensive itself:- Firstly, that you can wake up exactly where you are without physically or psychically travelling to some mystical place.
- Secondly, you must awaken exactly where you are and in this very moment and not seek to escape to some other place or time.
- Thirdly, the place between sleep and waking is a doorway as Oshana discovered!
- Fourthly, you have to accept your situation and your responsibility in creating it before you can improve it. The English say "You've made your bed, now lie in it".
- Fifthly, the emphasis on "your own bed" is call for non-promiscuous spirituality, i.e. one guru, one teaching and one practice. A sexually promiscuous person cannot understand the depth and meaning of one relationship to one person, similarly a seeker who guru-hops and mixes techniques and concepts cannot deeply understand any. When you find a real enlightenment teacher you should apply yourself to the prescribed spiritual with all your heart, soul and mind - and without distraction. Another English saying "Jack-of-all-trades, master of none" describes a person who can do many things but never becomes an expert at anything. At all costs you must at least get enlightenment in this lifetime.
The truth about existence is the elusive obvious which sits unseen in front of your eyes. Oshana will make this surreally unobvious information both real and apparent and thereby available for practical application on your spiritual path to overcoming the ego and attaining self-realisation, enlightenment and spiritual liberation.
