For
the solitary spiritual seeker the enlightenment path is filled
with misleading misconceptions and occluding obstructions.
The biggest fallacy is that there is a spiritual path out there because actually and factually there isn't a path at all!
So why talk about "a spiritual path"?
There are several reasons, and we could explore them all, but you don't want to bother yourself with unending, inelegant analysis because you would rather have beautiful results. Am I correct?
You would rather settle for a few brief moments of ego-free bliss expansion instead of a lifetime's headache of conceptual confusion. Is that true?
But the fact is that you rarely do? You seem driven to understand something which you have many times heard cannot be understood. The useful question is not "why don't you?" but "how can you?"
Unfortunately, you cannot hear the real method; something inside your psyche resists it. Which leads us back to "what stops you" which, ironically, is dangerously close to a why-type question structure. "Why" questions give rise to "because" followed by 10 million speculations but not a single useful prescription because something inside you stops you understanding.
The problem sounds circular because - it is. This infinite loop easily tires you out and wears you down but you keep picking yourself up to search again. Many lives are thus lived in one lifetime, but you never really find out who is behind the projector responsible for all the characters that you have acted.
Frustrating, is it not? I was there too: stuck in the prison of a character that I really was not. Thinking thoughts that were not really my own. Following paths simply because there were only limited choices.
Have you done that? Can you feel me?
