This Crazy Thing Called "Enlightenment!"

Enlightenment seeker, huh? Most of your friends and family think you are crazy? Maybe you do too (but that would make you as sane).

Seriously, if you are well on your way to Enlightenment, i.e. waking up to who you are (and what this world is really about) then you are in for shocks and surprises.

You will experience things that no-one will ever believe - except enlightened ones (because they believe anything - not really).

"Buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, 'cause Kansas is going bye-bye" is the order of the day. Talking of "The Matrix" let's see what Morpheus has to say to Neo about this 7-year Truth Itch: "You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?"

Thanks Morpheus, can we have some more?

Morpheus: I imagine that right now, you're feeling a bit like Alice. Hmm? Tumbling down the rabbit hole?
Neo: You could say that.
Morpheus: I see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up. Ironically, that's not far from the truth. Do you believe in fate, Neo?
Neo: No.
Morpheus: Why not?
Neo: Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.
Morpheus: I know *exactly* what you mean. Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?
Neo: The Matrix.
Morpheus: Do you want to know what it is?
Neo: Yes.
Morpheus: The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

The "splinter" is the search for the activation of your True Self. Finding the Self is just the beginning.

What Drove Buddha to Leave Kith and Kin and Do You Have To?

Does Thomas Anderson give up everything to discover the Truth? Damn straight he does. Furthermore he has to go thorough a series of extreme tests, followed by intense training before being put back in the Matrix on an impossible mission. With me still, Dorothy?

Buddha ran away from his warm comfortable bed, where his princess and children lay sleeping, to take up with a bunch of starving hippies in the forest, never to be seen for another six years.

Parents ask me "Will I have to leave my everything behind". Yes. "Even my children?" No, bring your kids along! Being a monk is easy compared to having a family. The stronger the test, the the greater the blessing. Save your family - just like Noah.

Oshana teachings events include parents. Enlightenment offers hope for the next generation. Parents, re-claim the responsibility taken away by an oppressive society.

But What Does Enlightenment Have to Do With Things Getting Better?

Are you living the life that you feel you are supposed to? If you answer is "no" then Enlightenment is your way out of gnawing meaninglessness. Most people don't dare to look. Pain is the barrier. Those who dare to look know that something is wrong.

Nothing will ever feel right until you get Enlightened. Upon Enlightenment you are reconnected to the Directive Lifeforce which was suppressed after birth.

Things can only get better when people are free to follow their Conscience. Consciousness includes Conscience. The masses are slaves to a society which puts profits before people. Such a society is inhumane and humans are perpetuating it. If you unplug from the programming then you will have the chance to become part of the solution and not the problem.

Enlightenment And Everything You Teach Is Crazy

From the view of society (which you represent) the search for Enlightenment has been branded as "crazy" to keep the prisoners in their cells. If the prisoners ventured out they would find a world of fresh air, sunlight, clean water and free resources. You can't have that today without paying a massive price. Whose insane now?

Remember, The Matrix is the prison that is all around you but you can't quite see it - yet!

Remember, not so long ago cigarettes were promoted as sexy, whilst tobacco companies covered up the fact that they were knowingly selling cancer, and still do, and are allowed to. Now mobile phones (radiation boxes) are being overly promoted to every man, woman and child - brain cells dying by the millions. Psychic powers shut down. You are food.

Eligibility & Registration

If you know that you seem crazy from society's eyes then this Retreat might be for you. To attend you need to have attended at least one or more Oshana Enlightenment Intensives to prove your level of (healthy) craziness. Please email us. You know the address. Be aware that really crazy people have already started booking before the event was even posted online. Space, unlike psychiatric hospital beds, is always limited! And time, my friend, is always against us.

The price for this crazy retreat has been kept as low as possible because crazy people don't understand money (since it doesn't exist ). Total price is 250€ inclusive of all teaching, healthy meals, shared farmhouse accommodation and retreat amenities. We generally have an excessive amount of teaching and discussion - so rest before and after.

Travel & Accommodation Assistance To & From Retreat

Orientation and preparation will be emailed to all successful applicants. We can help arrange retreat transportation and assist overseas participants with finding accommodation (on non-Retreat nights) in Helsinki.
